No forced ads, no banner ads, no timers, no energy bars, and no paywalls. The game is free to download with no in-app purchases; after a run ends you may choose to watch a short ad to continue (optional, one free continue per run).
Modes
- Daily Course: A seeded daily run that is identical for every player on earth. Same gauntlet, same obstacles, same chances. Climb the daily leaderboard before the clock resets at midnight UTC, then look back at yesterday's final standings to see exactly how it ended and who took it. Daily wins are tallied on their own Daily Wins leaderboard.
- Endless Mode: A procedurally generated course that keeps getting harder so you can chase your all-time best.
The Heat System
- Four multiplier tiers reward risky play. Play safe and Heat bleeds away; ride the edge and the multiplier detonates your score. The screen color shifts from cold cyan to molten red as Heat rises.
A New Song Every Day
- The soundtrack is generated from the date, the same way the course is. Every player hears the same track on the same day, and tomorrow's is a different one: new key, new bassline, new groove.
- The arrangement is gated on your score, so parts arrive under you the further you push. A pad to start, then kick, bass, arps, and the full arrangement by 10,000. You can hear how a run is going before you look at the number.
- Heat rides the filter rather than adding layers, so grazing an edge audibly opens the track up and playing safe closes it down.
- Nothing is streamed and no audio files ship with the app. Every sound is synthesised as you play.
Controls & Feel
- One-tap controls: simple to learn, difficult to master.
- Built for iPhone: grazes, near-misses, tier ups, and deaths are tuned to the Taptic Engine so you *feel* the danger.
- Nothing in the game is an asset. Every shape is drawn with canvas primitives at runtime and every sound is synthesised, so the whole game is a few hundred kilobytes.
Leaderboards & Progress
- Real Game Center leaderboards for daily and all-time scores, plus a daily wins tally.
- Yesterday's final daily standings stay viewable after the board closes, so you can see how it ended.
- Share a run straight to a friend: your score and exactly where it put you on today's board, as a rendered card.
- Leaderboards are backed by anti-cheat and offline scores post automatically when you reconnect.
Recent Changes
- Adaptive soundtrack (2.3.0): a procedurally generated song every day, seeded from the date, that builds layer by layer as your score climbs and picks back up where it left off if you continue a run.
- Share your score and daily rank as a card, from the home screen or after a run.
- Yesterday's final daily leaderboard is now viewable, and daily wins are settled from the finished board.
- New obstacles added (Canyon, Fork, Drift, Minefield) that change how you fly.
- App changed to free download; optional continue via short ad was introduced.
